Over Thanksgiving Break a group of Shen Staff attended and presented at the NYSCATE Conference.
As the holiday season approaches, Shenendehowa students are stepping up to support their peers through a districtwide initiative to address food insecurity. The Backpack Program Capstone Team is excited to announce Fill-a-Bus, a one-day donation event designed to help ensure that all students have access to essential food items during this time of year.
A group of Civics Capstone students made of up Samantha's friends and classmates are hosting a gold basketball game to raise funding and awareness for the Melodies Center; the sole provider for Pediatric Cancer and blood disorders treatments in the Capital Region.
The Shenendehowa Board of Education is seeking an experienced school leader to work continuously and in partnership with the community to ensure that all students develop and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, abilities and character needed to live useful, productive and rewarding lives.

FACS 7 teachers have been partnering with Sunmark credit union to build and improve their financial literacy module with students.

The 1st Annual Strides for Strength Walk-a-thon was a huge success!
The Shen Dance Team along with Real Kids Wear Pink were able to raise $1,150.00 for the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Plouff’s art students hard at work practicing cursive writing with growing consistency. They are developing their fine motor skills, improvement in letter formation and spacing. Students are slowing down, unplugging and increasing confidence and fluency in cursive handwriting.
